Alumni Header

The 30th annual National Conservative Student Conference featured more than 450 participants (280 was the largest full-time group ever) from 35 states and 190 campuses, including Harvard, Princeton, .West Point, Cornell, Wisconsin, UC Berkeley, Texas, Georgetown, Smith, Wellesley, and many more. 

A wide range of issues was covered by 41 speakers including George Will, Secretary Elaine Chao, Dr. Robert George, Dr. Walter Williams, Kim Strassel, George Allen, William Kristol, Fred Barnes, and many more.  During a White House briefing, speakers included top speechwriter and 1979 conference alumnus Marc Thiessen.

C-SPAN has aired more than 34 segments since the event, the most covered conservative conference of the year so far, available in more than 93 million homes.  Every speech except one was shown live on the internet which brought our ideas to thousands more viewers.  These segments are still available for viewing online.     

ALUMNI NEWS  
Gregory Loy (1984) is working in the space program as a financial estimator at Cape Canaveral Air Station. 
Garner Holdsworth (1994) is the president of the Aegeon Division of Exousia, an advanced materials manufacturer in Sugar Land, Texas. 
Neal Boyd (1996) appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent!” and is currently pursuing a career as a classical vocalist.  Neal Boyd
Maria Trapp (1996) is working in customer service for the Target Corporation. 
Greg Turbeville (1997) is a governmental consultant with Smith and Ballard in Tallahassee, Florida.  .
Ziba Ayeen (1998) is the manager of Middle East programs for ATLAS, an organization dedicated to supporting intellectual entrepreneurs who work for freedom around the world. 
Sgt. Ted Vickers (2003) is currently serving in Iraq with the United States Marine Corps. If you would like his address to send a letter of support, please contact the Foundation. 
Jeremie Arthur (2003) is a government contract and intellectual property attorney for Pratt & Whitney and is currently in the F-135 Joint Strike Fighter Program in the Air Force. 
Denise Chaykun (2004) is a leadership and grants specialist for the State Policy Network. .
 Andrew Mills (2004) is currently a teacher in Solona Beach, California. 

Lt. Stephan Jerabek (2005) is serving in Iraq with the United States Army. If you would like his address to send a letter of support, please contact the Foundation. 

Michael Klien (2005) is a finance and development coordinator working in international development. 
Denford Madenyika (2005) started the Dzidzai Foundation to bring the ideas of freedom to where they are needed in Zimbabwe. Denford served as a Sarah T. Hermann Intern at the Foundation in 2005. .
Edward Sanders (2005) is working as a legislative officer for the State Department. 

Jenny Hornberger (2006) is working at Merrill Lynch in New York City.

Alex Tornero (2006) is working for The Strategy Group for Media in Columbus, Ohio. 

Monica Zook (2006) is a senior underwriting analyst for Aetna in California. 
Crystal C. Chavez (2007) is president of the Crystal C. Chavez Foundation in California.  .
Robert Dunn (2007) is currently working at the University of Illinois in the School of Agriculture's Crop Science Department. 

Anastasia Feaster (2007) is an energy and environmental legislative associate for the Stateside Associates in Arlington, Virginia.

Ashley Herzog (2007) is the author of the new book Feminism vs. Women, which came out in June. 
Amanda Hill (2007) is currently a high school teacher of World and U.S. History in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. 
Brandon Kenig (2007) is an account executive for a growing firm and remains active in the Conservative Movement. 
Chelsea Lett (2007) is the health care legislative assistant for Arizona Congressman Rick Renzi. 
Kristopher Manghera (2007) owns a greeting card and stationary shop in San Pedro, California.
Josh Dirkse (2008) worked this summer as a Sarah T. Hermann Intern Scholar with the Foundation. .
Rohit Joy (2008) is a tax accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and remains active in the Conservative Movement in San Jose, California. 

 

Daniel Suhr (2008) is a recent graduate of the Marquette University Law School and is currently the deputy director of the student division for the Federalist Society in Washington D.C.

Jenna Zeledon (2008) is working for the Department of Justice as a case administrator for the United States District Court in San Diego.
