Position: Development Officer – The Reagan Ranch

Young America’s Foundation has an immediate opening for a development officer at the Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara, California.  This position requires a candidate with the ability to cultivate personal relationships who has excellent written and oral communications skills.  Responsibilities include leading tours of Ronald Reagan’s Western White House, supporter relations, supporter events, and marketing of the Reagan Ranch.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the development office of a non-profit organization or be a recent college graduate who has attended Young America's Foundation’s programs.  A strong interest in promoting conservative ideas to young people and a passion for Ronald Reagan will also be key to your success in this position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leading private and group visits of Ronald Reagan’s Western White House

Working with individual supporters of Young America's Foundation to steward their gifts and demonstrate how their gifts are making a difference

Participating in supporter events in Santa Barbara and around the country

Requirements include but are not limited to:

Bachelor’s Degree

Willingness to travel

Understanding of marketing and a willingness to further develop your knowledge in this field

Team player
