Visitors Gallery

The Reagan Ranch Visitors Gallery is an exciting component of the Reagan Ranch Center.  Visitors will have an opportunity to learn about Ronald Reagan and his conservative philosophy.

The Visitors Gallery will be dedicated to the teaching of Ronald Reagan’s life and principles, with emphasis on his years at the ranch.  Historic items, including the original table on which President Reagan signed the largest tax-cut in American history into law, will be on display.  A portion of the ranch home will even be recreated.

Important speeches and original letters will also be on display.  These are items that are not part of the ranch collection, so it would not be appropriate to house them there. They are, however, key artifacts that shed light on the Reagan era.

One of the centerpiece displays will be the Lorraine Wagner Collection of original Reagan correspondence, acquired by the Foundation through the generous support of Alice Atkinson.  This historic collection of 216 letters written by Ronald Reagan to his pen pal Lorraine Wagner, over the course of more than fifty years, is a powerful, intimate glimpse into the mind of the real Ronald Reagan.  Now the collection will have a home, to be seen by thousands of people.

Once the Visitors Gallery is open to the public, it will help the Foundation to dramatically expand its outreach.  The Visitors Gallery will accommodate anyone interested in learning more about the Conservative Movement through Ronald Reagan, the Reagan Ranch, or Young America’s Foundation.
