In 2012, National Journal recognized Richard as a “rising star” in Congress. Also, he was named the 12th most conservative Member of the House for always standing up for traditional values that protect our 2nd Amendment rights, reduce taxes, rein in Washington’s wasteful spending and help create jobs in North Carolina.
