Vice President Mike Pence will bring his energetic, pro-America message to University of Iowa on November 1 as part of Young America’s Foundation’s campus lecture series.
The Vice President, serving as YAF’s Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar, will also visit Texas A&M University this November, in addition to several other campuses yet to be announced.
The event will be hosted by the University of Iowa Young Americans for Freedom chapter.
Founded in 1960, Young Americans for Freedom boasts hundreds of high school and college chapters across the nation that advocate for conservative ideas through activism projects and speaker events.
“YAF’s goal at the University of Iowa is to present a conservative view which is currently underrepresented on college campuses,” said Iowa YAF Chairman Hunter Morrow. “We are excited for the opportunity to host a highly principled leader such as Vice President Mike Pence–a great opportunity for us to reach students who might not otherwise hear our perspective in their classrooms.”
Pence was last in Iowa in July 2021 for the inaugural Feenstra Family Picnic and The Family Leadership Summit.
The event, free and open to the public, will take place at 7:00 p.m. in the IMU Main Lounge. Ticketing information will be released within the coming days.
