Frequently Asked Questions

Your guide to hosting a speaker on campus.

Since the honoraria of our speakers change frequently, we do not offer a comprehensive list. However, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-USA-1776 and we will be glad to provide that information.

No! Young America’s Foundation works with most student groups and organizations to schedule our speakers.

We specialize in helping students bring conservative speakers to their campuses. We help you with the entire process, from booking the speaker, arranging travel, security questions, etc. We can even help you if you are attacked by the university administration or are a victim of a left-wing dirty trick.

Young America’s Foundation has worked with thousands of students to host speakers and you will not find any other organization that has more experience in helping students organize events.

Yes! Young America’s Foundation will contribute a substantial amount of financial support to one of our events. The exact amount is determined on a case-by-case basis. We do ask each group to request funds first from their student government and/or student activities committee on campus. Once you know your budget, we can make a final determination on how much we can provide. Young America’s Foundation requires that we are the sole national sponsor of the event.
No, but you can inquire about the process. The Foundation is happy to walk you through your first steps of hosting the speaker while you solicit funds from your school. We will not schedule a speaker until the required funding is raised in advance. In some cases, we can check the speaker’s schedule to see if a particular date is available.

You don’t need to send the payment until the day of the event.

No. The speaker or their office will book their flights and accommodations. Any coordination needed will be handled by the Foundation team.
Yes, in some cases. The speakers listed by the Foundation have a proven track record of working well and have low cancellation rates. If you are interested in hosting someone not listed currently by the Foundation, please call 800-872-1776 and we can assist you in what that process looks like.
No. All YAF campus events must be free and open to the public. Not only does a fee historically hurt attendance, but we do not want any financial barriers prohibiting students from attending our events.

Find your desired speaker’s page at yaf.org/speakers and submit an inquiry. This will notify our team and we will reach out promptly to connect and get started!

Please call 800-872-1776 and a Foundation staff member would be happy to answer any questions you have to help you get started on making a lasting impact on your campus today!
