Young America’s Foundation (YAF) is committed to ensuring that increasing numbers of young Americans understand and are inspired by the ideas of individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values.
A project of Young America’s Foundation, the National Journalism Center (NJC) is an educational organization that trains aspiring journalists in the values of responsible, balanced, and accurate reporting. The NJC manages two 12-week semesters per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. Students are recruited from around the country for each semester, and subsequently placed in newsrooms around the Washington, D.C., metro area.
NJC is looking for a full-time program officer to support the director and the program director in outreach to media, alumni, and students.
