Rising from humble beginnings in inner-city Detroit, he became the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the back of the head—a groundbreaking achievement in modern medicine. A steadfast advocate for faith, personal responsibility, and constitutional values, Dr. Carson’s life reflects a deep commitment to conservative principles and the enduring promise of the American dream. Today, he continues to inspire and lead as the founder and chairman of the American Cornerstone Institute, a think tank dedicated to promoting common-sense solutions rooted in faith, liberty, community, and life.
