“There is no better way to establish hope for the future than to enlighten young minds.”

– President Ronald Reagan

Are You Ready to Explore Freedom and Discover America?

Imagine a journey that traces the path of a leader from his formative years to the pinnacle of American leadership. Join us on an Expedition to the Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon, Illinois – an immersive experience into the landscape that formed a President.

The Middle School Expedition is your all-access pass to explore the values that shaped a president and the American dream: freedom, opportunity, ingenuity, and hard work. Join us for a unique adventure where the past inspires the future and where history, leadership, and character development intertwine.

Kids on obstacle course

On this adventure, you will:

  • Forge friendships and hone leadership skills
  • Engage in dynamic activities that ignite critical thinking
  • Witness the journey from a small town to the White House
  • Find motivation in the power of American potential
  • Cultivate resilience, determination, and optimism
Tackle the Reagan Resilience Challenge: A Leadership Course with a Difference

Inspired by the Leadership Reaction Course from military training, this course challenges students with problem-solving scenarios that cultivate the determination, optimism, and leadership traits of Ronald Reagan.

What you will gain:

Students will emerge with an understanding of the aspects that make America exceptional and gain insight into the ideas that shaped President Reagan. With engaging and dynamic speakers, students will learn the effectiveness of free-market principles and grapple with important questions about American history.

This two-day program begins and ends at the Northwest Territory Historic Center (205 West Fifth St, Dixon, IL) and includes dinner at the Post House Ballroom and a tour of President Reagan’s Boyhood Home. This educational program begins at 5:30 p.m. on July 25 and concludes at 4:45 p.m. on July 26.
