Dive into the heart and mind of one of America’s greatest leaders! YAF’s three-day program will whisk you away on a journey through history, revealing the people, places, and ideas that shaped the Ronald Reagan as a young man. You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of how the 40th President changed not just the country, but the world, and how you can do the same. Brace yourself for an adventure through time as you journey to America’s heartland, where the very essence of President Reagan’s character comes alive. From his tireless work ethic to his astounding humility, frugality, and belief in the American Dream, Ronald Reagan’s hometown personifies the President’s deeply held values and shaped his vision of what America was, is, and could be –a “Shining City on a Hill.”

Today, young people are taught that America is the exact opposite –a place of bigotry, oppression, and limited opportunity– and that our most important systems and institutions– the Constitution, free enterprise, free speech, and religious liberty among them – are simply pillars of this oppression. This program will help students grapple with important questions about American values and better equip them to understand and defend the principles of freedom.

During this program, you will engage with the top leaders of the Conservative Movement, discovering how you can bring change to your campus and inspire others. Plus, you’ll mix and mingle with fellow young leaders from every corner of the USA. And as if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get to explore the Midwest town that shaped the legendary Ronald Reagan. We guarantee that it will be an unforgettable week!

This empowering program will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, and will conclude on Saturday, July 20, at 4:30 p.m.

WHAT’S INCLUDED? The conference fee of $100 includes Thursday and Friday night in a hotel, conference materials, transportation during the program, and meals from Thursday dinner through Saturday lunch.

WHERE WILL STUDENTS STAY? YAF will provide hotel accommodations for students on Thursday and Friday night at the Holiday Inn & Suites (301 E 2nd St, Rock Falls, IL 61071).
