“there’s a flickering spark in us all which, if struck at just the right age,
I think, can light the rest of our lives”
– President Ronald Reagan
Who? High School Students
When? June 19-22, 2024
Where? The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort in Santa Barbara, California

Today, young people are taught that America is the exact opposite –a place of racism, oppression, and limited opportunity– and that our most important systems and institutions– the Constitution, free enterprise, free speech, and religious liberty among them – are simply instruments of this oppression. This program will help you grapple with important questions about American identity and better equip you to understand and defend the principles of freedom.
During this program, you will engage with the top leaders of the Conservative Movement, soaking up their ideas and inspirational stories. Plus, you’ll mix and mingle with fellow young leaders from every corner of the USA. And as if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get to explore Rancho del Cielo, the “Western White House,” which the legendary Ronald Reagan called home for 25 years. It’s going to be an unforgettable week!
This educational program will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, and will conclude on Saturday, June 22, at 4:30 p.m.
WHAT’S INCLUDED? The conference fee of $100 includes three nights in a hotel, conference materials, transportation during the program, and meals from Wednesday dinner through Saturday lunch.
WHERE WILL STUDENTS STAY? YAF will provide hotel accommodations for students on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort (633 E Cabrillo Blvd, Santa Barbara, CA 93103). Students will have one or two roommates of the same sex, and students may request a roommate on their application.
