Grove Park Inn's amazing, par-70 Grove Park Golf Course dears a bright green path of 6,400 yards through the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The historic course is described as the "only rivaf' to Pinehurst in a state ranking of Donald Ross courses by Visit NC. The course opened for play around the time the inn first debuted, and it was beautifully redesigned by Scottish golf course architect Donald Ross in 1926. (2:00 to 5:00 p.m.)

The 10,000-acre DuPont State Park Forest is home to over 90 miles of trails leading adventurous hikers to beautiful waterfalls and rushing streams. On this moderate two-mile hike, your friendly guides will take you to three of these splendid waterfalls (High Falls, Triple Falls and Hooker Falls). Two of these waterfalls were filmed in Last of the Mahicans. (1:00 to 5:30 p.m.)

- Experience fresh mountain air and breath-taking scenery when you go on a two-hour horseback ride in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains. The ride will take place on a secluded and private ranch north of Asheville, a ranch with picturesque trails that pass through high country, scenic mountain meadow and wooded areas. Designated as an official American Viticultural Area in 2019, the "Crest of the Blue Ridge'' wine region currently boasts many of the Southern Appalachian's emerging and innovative vineyards and wineries. Several of these wineries have tasting rooms in Downtown Asheville. A talented local wine expert and sommelier will accompany our group on a walking tour featuring tastings at three of these Downtown wine tasting rooms. (2:00 to 5:00 p.m.)

Asheville Brewery Tour This fun and informative brewery tour will provide guests with behind-the-scenes brewmaster access, insights into the craft beer brewing process, tastings of many highly acclaimed local beers, and an educated introduction to the diverse brewing scene in Asheville and its unique beer history. The tour will take you to three of the best breweries where your guide will curate a unique collection of tastings at each brewery. (2:00 to 5:00 p.m.)
