A deranged leftist was caught on camera angrily screaming at the leader of the University of Utah’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter ahead of the conservative student group’s upcoming lecture featuring the Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles.
The chaotic scene unfolded in a Trader Joe’s parking lot as YAF Chairwoman Lucy Atwood and a fellow chapter member returned to their vehicle after posting flyers for the upcoming event.

One of the leftists spotted them and started cursing them out and screaming "God does not love people like you!" pic.twitter.com/wup5yQbBps
“That’s so mean!” the unidentified leftist yelled at the two students, apparently referring to their coordination of Knowles’ appearance. “Are you sad? Do you not have anything else to do with your time? You’re a f–cking c–nt. You are a piece of f–cking sh–t,” she added. “God does not love people like you!”
“God loves everyone,” Lucy countered.
She previously caught this same individual tearing down flyers.
Reflecting on the situation in a statement to the New Guard, she said, “People get so angry about conservatives holding our own events and having our own opinions, but everyone has the right to free speech. We will continue our efforts and refuse to let them intimidate us.”
Far from collectively wasting their time as the radical student insinuated, the University of Utah’s YAF chapter has consistently been making rapid strides for the advancement of conservatism on their campus.
In recent months, the chapter has hosted numerous impactful activism projects and tablings, as well as some of the most influential names in the Conservative Movement including Chloe Cole, Yeonmi Park, Elisha Krauss, and soon, Michael Knowles.
Despite a heavy flow of pushback from leftists, administrators, and even the university’s police department, they remain laser focused on accomplishing their mission: to help their peers see that conservatism is the side of common sense and logic.
While some leftists evidently lack the ability to control their rage, YAF always encourages those who disagree with a speaker to come engage in a civil battle of ideas during the question-and-answer session.
In fact, Knowles even took the opportunity to sit down and have a productive conversation with several of them on the most recent stop on his YAF lecture tour.
Michael Knowles will take the stage Monday evening at the College of Social Work building, room 134. Doors open at 6pm. This event is free and open to the public, and tickets can be reserved here.
