Young America’s Foundation is thrilled to announce Kennesaw State University as the second campus at which Ben Shapiro will speak this spring through YAF’s exclusive Fred Allen Lecture Series. “Being a conservative at Kennesaw State University hasn’t always been easy due to faculty opposition and administrative attempts to limit the status and abilities of KSU’s YAF chapter,” noted Young America’s Foundation Spokesman Spencer Brown. “Thanks to the courageous actions of Young Americans for Freedom activists at KSU, conservatives now have equal standing as members of their campus community. By hosting the most-requested campus speaker in the country—after organizing several other successful campus lectures by leading conservatives—KSU Young Americans for Freedom are doing the important work of bringing diverse ideas to their peers and creating an opportunity for the free and open exchange of ideas to flourish.” “America is in a battle of ideas—a battle for the foundations of our country,” added Ben Shapiro. “And I can’t think of any better way to engage than to speak to students who are all too often being indoctrinated into one side of that battle. I’m grateful to YAF for giving me that opportunity.” Since 2013, Shapiro has worked with Young America’s Foundation for more than 55 campus addresses reaching audiences numbering more than 35,000, while his lectures have been viewed more than 200,000,000 times online. Additional details regarding attendance for this lecture will be made available as they’re confirmed via YAF.org/events and @YAF.To request media credentials for this event or for additional information on Young America’s Foundation and the Fred Allen Lecture Series contact YAF Spokesman Spencer Brown via [email protected] or 800-USA-1776.
