Austin Reeder is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) with a degree in marketing. He joined YAF in 2020 as a founding member of his university’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter. He served as marketing chair for two years and helped bring Ben Shapiro to campus after one of the chapter’s Instagram posts spawned protests sponsored by the UNCG Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
With firsthand experience dealing with angry leftist faculty and classmates, Austin is dedicated to preparing and supporting students to defend their beliefs and stand up for the Conservative Movement.
Austin grew up in Stallings, North Carolina, where he enjoys golfing, watching movies, and playing with his dogs, Scout and Hutch. He is a huge Red Sox fan, hoping to one day watch a game at Fenway.
