Caitlyn McCoy is a rising junior studying political science at the University of Florida and currently serves as chairman of her Young Americans for Freedom chapter.
Caitlyn became involved with YAF in 2020 when her grandfather showed her a video of a Ben Shapiro lecture. She became even more passionate about spreading conservative ideas on campus after the university suspended her YAF chapter for hosting an event that violated UF’s strict COVID-19 regulations.
Caitlyn has organized several YAF activism projects on her campus, including the Pro-Life Timeline, Freedom Week, and the 9/11: Never Forget Project. She has attended several YAF conferences, including the National Conservative Student Conference and an activism training seminar.
Caitlyn is excited and honored to continue to advance the Conservative Movement as a William and Berniece Grewcock Intern Scholar.
