Charlotte McCormick grew up in Thousand Oaks, California, and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, in August 2018. She graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas More Academy.
In August 2021, Charlotte began her first year at Elon University as an Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellow. She is pursuing a major in political science. In her first year, she was elected as class vice president. This fall, she will continue her involvement with the Student Government Association as a senator and chair of the Student Outreach Committee.
She is looking forward to leading students as an orientation leader, peer educator, and Catholic Campus Ministry servant-leader. Charlotte is eager to utilize these leadership positions as an opportunity to promote American values and work for a revival of the true purpose of higher education.
Charlotte has been involved with YAF since attending her first conference at the Reagan Ranch Center at the age of 13. This conference stimulated a passion for understanding and promoting conservative values and principles.
Charlotte has since attended additional YAF conferences in Santa Barbara, Raleigh, and Washington, D.C., and her passion for the Conservative Movement has only increased. She is excited to gain more knowledge and leadership skills as an intern at the Reagan Ranch Center.
