James Vaughan

Reagan Ranch Intern

James Vaughan is a rising senior at the University of Houston, a native Houstonian, and a proud Texan. He is studying political science with a minor in finance. While attending YAF’s National Conservative Student Conference in Houston last summer, he met the 2021 Reagan Ranch interns. They convinced him to apply to be an intern, and he is thrilled to be working with the Foundation this summer.

James is enthusiastic to learn more about his and his father’s hero, Ronald Reagan. He also hopes to learn how to be more active on his college campus to effectively advance conservative ideas and introduce more students to the Conservative Movement.

James enjoys cycling, swimming, running, hiking, going to the beach, and going for drives in the mountains. He also enjoys meeting new people and spending time with friends.

James is excited to network and connect with visitors at the Reagan Ranch Center and the Reagan Ranch.
