Ken serves as the accounts payable accountant. He is responsible for coding and processing invoices and expense reports, maintaining vendor records, issuing payments and preparing 1099s at year-end.
A wealth of accounting experience enables Ken to contribute to account analyses, bank reconciliations, general ledger activities, the annual financial audit and month/year-end closes, along with performing basic A/P functions.
Ken graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in languages and also studied accounting through the university’s MS in Accounting program. His work experience includes working for his alma mater and its hospital, a software firm, a defense contractor and a charitable educational foundation.
Ken is a bibliophile who enjoys owning and reading books and has 678 titles on his Kindle in addition to his “real” library. He and his wife Eleanor have made their home in Centreville, Virginia, for the last 10 years.
