Maesa Vicente serves as office assistant at Young America’s Foundation’s national headquarters, where she works closely with the office of the president to support the daily operations at YAF.
Maesa is excited to join the team and help further YAF’s mission to spread the ideas of freedom and conservatism to young Americans.
Born in Miami, Florida, to Cuban immigrants, Maesa is motivated by the legacy of her parents and grandparents, who fled a communist country and worked hard to ensure freedom for their future generations.
Maesa graduated from Christendom College this past May with a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics. She is grateful to have had the opportunity at Christendom to grow in her Catholic faith and be enriched by its culture and rigorous academic program.
While at Christendom, Maesa attended YAF’s 44th annual National Conservative Student Conference in Washington, D.C., where she was inspired by the variety of excellent conservative speakers and opportunities to make lifelong friendships in just one short week.
In her free time, Maesa enjoys painting, music, and spending time with family and friends.
