Matthew Walker is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and currently attends Liberty University, pursuing a major in criminal justice and a minor in government. He was a part of the men’s swim team and has held multiple leadership roles in several clubs on campus.
Matthew ensures students learn about conservative principles through his involvement with the Young Americans for Freedom chapter on campus. In addition, he assisted with the 9/11: Never Forget Project and helped host speakers, including Governor Scott Walker.
Matthew’s commitment to the Conservative Movement has led him to YAF and the Reagan Ranch Center. He is determined to utilize this internship opportunity to make an impact in California and ensure the lamp of freedom still burns bright. He is excited to help serve YAF’s students and supporters to advance the cause of freedom for the next generation.
