Veronica Nguyen is a sophomore at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, where she is majoring in Political Science and Business/Economics.
In high school, Veronica attended several Young America’s Foundation conferences which strengthened her conservative ideologies and interest in societal and governmental issues. While at Westmont College, she became President of a conservative club where she strives for deliberation and graciousness as she engages in discourse. She also had the opportunity to study abroad in Northern Europe. This allowed her to become more knowledgeable on international affairs and she hopes to integrate her experience with the way that she approaches domestic affairs.
When Veronica is not volunteering at the California Citrus State Historic Park and various church groups, she can be found tending her succulent garden, at coffee and tea shops or reading poetry. If someone were to ask Veronica what her favorite day of the week is, it would have to be Sundays because she gets to attend Mass at the Santa Barbara Mission and catch up on Ben Shapiro’s podcasts!
Veronica looks forward to learning more about the Conservative Movement and furthering Young America’s Foundation’s outreach.
