Oklahoma State University enacted so-called anti-bias policies that censor “controversial” ideas. Conservative students feared academic discipline if they shared their opinions on campus. These students sued the school as a group, the student organization “Speech First.” Ludicrously, the trial court demanded the students reveal their personal identities to pursue the case, which violates constitutional protections. YAF joined an amicus brief because students should be allowed to pursue vindication of their First Amendment rights without risking retaliation by the school.
