Inspiring young Americans
with the ideas of
Ronald Reagan
Young America’s Foundation invites you to explore the places that were fundamental to President Reagan’s childhood and Presidency, which inspired his character and also serve as filming locations for the 2024 film REAGAN, starring Dennis Quaid and Jon Voight.
Today, YAF hosts conferences and programs for college, high school, and middle school students as well as parents, alumni, supporters, and conservative partners.
YAF is a non-profit organization that focuses on training the next generation of leaders in the fight for freedom.
REAGAN: THE MOVIE & YAF
The Reagan movie highlights two key locations which fundamentally shaped Ronald Reagan’s life and legacy: his hometown of Dixon, Illinois, and his beloved California ranch, Rancho del Cielo.
The beginning of Reagan highlights Ronald Reagan’s early years growing up in Dixon, Illinois. Since late 2020, YAF has preserved the Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon. Today, the Boyhood Home shares the story of Ronald Reagan’s humble upbringing in Dixon, where he developed the lifelong values of faith, patriotism, hard work, and humility.
The Reagan movie also features picturesque scenes filmed at President’s beloved Rancho del Cielo—including the poignant ending with him riding off into the sunset. Since 1998, Young America’s Foundation (YAF) has preserved and protected Rancho del Cielo, using this historic Presidential property to pass on President Reagan’s ideas and lasting accomplishments to future generations.

THE REAGAN RANCH
Young America’s Foundation preserves the President’s “Western White House,” the Reagan Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, which is open for YAF’s programs and special events.
In addition to once-in-a-lifetime tours of the ranch, students hear from some of the best conservative speakers in the country during programs at the Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara, which is open to the public.
Speakers at recent conferences include Congressman Byron Donalds, Star Parker, Senator Mike Lee, former NBA star Enes Kanter Freedom, competitive swimming Paula Scanlan, best selling author Peter Schweizer, and Dissident Project founder Daniel Di Martino.
One student reflected on his recent visit to the Reagan Ranch, saying, “I’d say Reagan is one of my heroes so being able to tour his ranch is incredibly valuable to me and is something I will remember for the rest of my life.”
THE REAGAN BOYHOOD HOME
Today, YAF hosts conferences in Dixon, Illinois, for college, high school, and middle school students—in addition to conducting public tours of the Reagan Boyhood Home. Speakers at recent YAF conferences include President Reagan’s son Michael Reagan, Yeonmi Park, Lt. Col. Allen West, professor Burt Folsom, and Governor Scott Walker.
One recent student visitor to the Reagan Boyhood Home remarked, “As a huge Ronald Reagan fan, having the opportunity to tour his former childhood home was such an amazing experience. I will carry the memories I have made here for the rest of my life…”
YAF's CONFERENCES

We hope you enjoyed the Reagan movie. Like so many other Americans, Ronald Reagan shaped my view of America. I am a conservative and an optimist because of President Reagan.
At Young America’s Foundation, we are proud to continue our 40th President’s legacy by promoting his ideals of limited government, lower taxes, and a strong national defense. It is our honor to be the guardians of the Reagan Ranch and the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home. I was proud to be at the Reagan Ranch when they filmed the ending of the Reagan movie.
We will continue to share these historic Presidential properties with students as well as inspire them to promote conservative views on campus, at school, within their communities, and on social media. As President Reagan said, freedom is never more than one generation from extinction. We have to fight for it and defend it.
