YouTuber MrBeast’s former co-star is under investigation for grooming a minor, and the Left is not happy about it. As expected, the mainstream media and leftist activists are rushing to Chris Tyson’s defense.
They argue that investigating allegations that he sent sexual texts and images to a 13-year-old while he was 20 is inherently “transphobic,” suggesting that Tyson’s new identity as a so-called “woman” named Ava should exempt him from scrutiny.
Leftist news outlet Rolling Stone attributed Tyson’s separation from the world’s most popular YouTuber to “transphobic attacks,” even though the author, Charisma Madarang, goes on to acknowledge Tyson’s purported pedophilic behavior.
Allegations of grooming are serious and warrant thorough investigation, of course. Tyson took to social media to deny the claims, but the evidence appears to be quite convincing.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, released a statement stating that he is “disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts.” He noted that he has enlisted independent investigators to look into the allegations, and “will take further actions based on their findings.”
Donaldson’s ex-sidekick previously faced public scrutiny after abandoning his wife and young child last year to live out his fantasy of so-called “womanhood.”
