On the heels of leftist outrage at the University of Alabama over the “bigotry” and “extremism” of Young America’s Foundation, YAF is bringing the fight for America’s future to the Crimson Tide’s home turf: Verdict with Ted Cruz will make the second stop on its 2022 YAF tour in Tuscaloosa.
Next month, the wildly popular video podcast featuring Senator Ted Cruz and Michael Knowles will visit the University of Alabama to record an hour-long show with a LIVE student audience.
Michael Knowles said of the tour addition, “I was surprised to read in the Alabama student newspaper that YAF is an ‘institution of bigotry and extremism.’ (YAF students have always struck me as intelligent, kind, and respectful!) Bigotry is nothing more than closed-mindedness, so perhaps the leftist students on campus will be able to open our minds. Or perhaps—and this is ambitious—we’ll be able to open theirs.”
YAF recently announced that the first stop on the Verdict LIVE tour for 2022 will be Yale University, Michael’s alma mater and a hotbed of liberal thought.
“After we conquer the Ivy League at Yale, ‘Verdict’ is taking its talents to Tuscaloosa,” Senator Cruz added. “We heard being photographed at a YAF event is cause for getting canceled at the University of Alabama, so we’re heading down there to shine a light. Whether you’re a canceler or a cancelee, consider thinking for yourself and come by. ‘Verdict’ is a voice for anyone being silenced simply for disagreeing with the lunatic orthodoxy du jour. Roll Tide!”
Liz Wheeler, co-host with Senator Cruz of the exclusive series The Cloakroom on Verdict+ and the acclaimed daily video podcast The Liz Wheeler Show will also make an appearance at the event.
