When a Florida school board used an unconstitutionally vague rule to shut down speech by concerned parents, YAF partnered with Alliance Defending Freedom to write in support of the parents. Parents were simply exercising their right to protect their own children by speaking out against the school’s use of sexually inappropriate materials, but the school claimed this dissent was “abusive.” YAF believes parents are the best educators of their own children and that administrators must be required to answer for the misuse of their authority to indoctrinate children.
