Student government at the University at Buffalo attempted to block the Young Americans for Freedom chapter’s Michael Knowles event in March 2023. When that didn’t work, the student government passed a new rule banning groups that affiliate with a national organization. When YAF filed a lawsuit, the student government passed a new rule that did not outright block the YAF chapter, but did create significant restrictions on their campus activities.
