When the Davidson College community responded to the October 7th Massacre, Davidson took a firm stance—not against Hamas—but against Israel and the students who supported it. While pro-Hamas actors were permitted to distribute literature that called for the eradication of the Jewish people and physically take over the Chambers Building – the central building on campus – pro-Israel students were not given the same leeway. One YAF activist was singled out and punished for sharing a pro-Israel pamphlet by Robert Spencer, and Jewish students began concealing their identities out of fear of violence and retribution.
