When a far-left professor turned her classroom into her personal piggybank, students suffered the financial effects. Dr. Amy Wisner was supposed to teach Communications, but instead she extorted $100 from each student by making them join her leftist blog as “required course material.” At times, she said the money went back into the blog; at other times she said the funds went to a leftists causes like Planned Parenthood. YAF advised students they could not be compelled to support causes they detest. The New Guard published an article about this, and students complained to the school – eventually, the school suspended Dr. Wisner and gave student their money back.
