YAF arranged to bring Matt Walsh’s “What is a Woman?” tour to the University of California at Berkeley – YAF’s first major event there since the Foundation’s victorious lawsuit against Berkeley in 2018. In true Berkeley fashion, the school dropped a security fee of over $13,000 on YAF less than a week before the event, recommended based on their assessment of potential protests. YAF’s team of attorneys quickly reminded the school of their obligations based on the outcome of the prior lawsuit, and the school agreed to pay all security costs.
