Overview
The NCSC Meet & Greet Contest is a chapter-based competition among Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) campus chapters. The top-performing chapters will earn access to an exclusive meet-and-greet/photo line with Ben Shapiro at the National Conservative Student Conference (NCSC).
Sponsor and Administrator
- Young America’s Foundation, 11480 Commerce Park Drive, 6th Floor, Reston, VA 20191, (800) USA-1776.
- By entering any portion of Young America’s Foundation Contest to Win to Attend NCSC Meet and Greet with Ben Shapiro (the “Contest”), all Entrants, including the Winners, acknowledge and agree to these Official Rules.
- Young America’s Foundation retains the ultimate decision, in its sole discretion, as to which Entrants are eligible. Young America’s Foundation’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term.
- Contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram.
Eligibility
- Open to official Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) campus chapters in good standing.
- Entrants must be:
- Current college students
- Registered attendees of NCSC
- Over the age of 18 as of March 25, 2026 [or launch date]
- Legal residents of the United States
- Students must be affiliated with a Young Americans for Freedom chapter to count toward that chapter’s total.
- Entrants who are not the legal age of majority in their state (e.g., under 19 years of age in Alabama and Nebraska, under 21 years of age in Mississippi) must submit a completed Parental Consent Form that is signed by the Entrant’s or Winner’s parent or legal guardian.
- Entries submitted by minors without a fully completed parental consent form will be disqualified.
- Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
How to Enter
- There is no separate contest entry form required.
- Students automatically count toward their chapter by:
- Registering for NCSC, and
- Being affiliated with a Young Americans for Freedom chapter (or joining one prior to the deadline)
Contest Criteria
- The top three (3) Young Americans for Freedom chapters that bring the highest number of registered and confirmed attendees to NCSC will be declared winners.
- Rankings are based on total number of qualifying attendees per chapter.
- Sponsor staff will calculate rankings among entries received
What Counts as an Attendee
To be counted toward a chapter’s total, a student must:
- Be registered for NCSC
- Be confirmed (paid/approved, if applicable)
- Be affiliated with a Young Americans for Freedom chapter prior to the contest deadline
(YAF reserves the right to require onsite check-in verification if needed.)
Contest Deadline
- All qualifying attendees must be registered and affiliated with a chapter by the close of NCSC registration. Registration will close once the conference reaches capacity or no later than August 5, whichever occurs first.
- No additions or changes will be counted after this deadline.
Chapter Attribution Rules
- Students will count toward the chapter associated with their school.
- Students not initially affiliated with a chapter may:
- Join an existing Young Americans for Freedom chapter and be counted
- YAF reserves the right to:
- Assign students to appropriate chapters
- Review and verify all affiliations
New Chapter Policy
- Newly formed chapters during the contest period are subject to additional review and approval.
- YAF reserves the right to:
- Disqualify or adjust totals for chapters formed solely to manipulate contest outcomes.
Tie-Breaker
In the event of a tie:
- Chapter with the earliest completion of final qualifying attendee count wins, or
- Alternate tie-breaker determined by YAF at its discretion
Prize
- Winning chapters (top 3) will receive:
- Access for their qualifying attendees to an exclusive meet-and-greet/photo line with Ben Shapiro during Young America Foundation’s 48th Annual National Conservative Student Conference from August 6–8, 2026, in Washington, D.C.
- Total meet-and-greet attendance is limited; final allocation per chapter will be determined by YAF.
- All attendees are subject to required security screening. Failure to pass security clearance will result in forfeiture of meet-and-greet access, and no replacement or substitution is guaranteed.
Additional Attendees
- A limited number of additional attendees (e.g., supporters/donors) may be included at YAF’s discretion and are not part of the contest.
Notification of Winners
- Winning chapters will be notified by email, text, or phone on August 6, 2026 some time prior to 12:00 PM ET.
- Final attendee lists must be submitted in advance for security clearance.
- Details of the winning chapters will be available for at least ninety (90) days after the above notification date by contacting Young America’s Foundation at (800) USA-1776. The Winners agree to have their names published as Winners of the Contest after the Meet and Greet
Conduct & Disqualification
- YAF reserves the right to:
- Audit registrations and affiliations
- Disqualify any chapter or participant engaging in fraud, manipulation, or rule violations
General Conditions
- Contest details are subject to change at YAF’s discretion.
- All decisions by YAF are final.
- Modification or Cancellation
The Contest and these Contest Rules are subject to cancellation, termination, modification, limitation, or suspension in Young America’s Foundation’s sole discretion, with or without notice, including to persons who have already entered the Contest. All cancellations, terminations, modifications, limitations, or suspensions of the Contest or Contest Rules will be posted on Young America’s Foundation’s website. For the avoidance of doubt, these rights extend to circumstances in which Young America’s Foundation, at its sole discretion and for any reason, determines that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, acts of God, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest. If, in those circumstances, Young America’s Foundation terminates the Contest, it reserves the right to select the Winners from among all eligible Entries received as of the date of termination or as otherwise may be deemed fair and equitable by Young America’s Foundation.
- LIMITATION ON LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT WILL YOUNG AMERICA’S FOUNDATION BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM, UPLOADING TO, AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEBSITE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS”; WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WITH NO GUARANTEE THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE ERROR FREE OR THAT ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED. - Indemnification and Release
Each Entrant, including the Winners, agrees to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Young America’s Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions or causes of action, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage and personal injury (including emotional distress) which may occur in connection with participation in , the Contest, and for any claims or causes of action based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. If this release is prohibited in any part by applicable law, Entrant hereby waives the right to seek or accept damages in any proceeding and to reimburse Young America’s Foundation for any and all expenses or costs associated with such claim (including attorney’s fees, court fees and the amount of any judgment or settlement).
- Choice of Law
Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants or Young America’s Foundation in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the Contest shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court having jurisdiction over the subject matter located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Entrants hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of said courts and waive any claim of inconvenient forum or lack of personal jurisdiction that they may have.
