Wednesday morning, a massive crowd of 15,000 college students packed into Liberty University’s (LU) Fall Convocation to learn about free enterprise directly from Steve Forbes.
That’s right– 15,000 young people.
The lecture was sponsored in large part by Young America’s Foundation’s Steve and Janice Shengold Advancing Freedom Lecture Series.
It’s critical for students to graduate from college with the unfiltered truth about free enterprise. That’s why YAF poured its resources into ensuring this enormous audience of thousands and thousands of young people would have the opportunity to learn from Forbes during their time on campus.
Today’s young people grew up in an era where the media depicted free market capitalists as evil, greedy villains. Forbes’ lecture taught LU students the truth.
LU Young Americans for Freedom is also hosting a special question and answer session for students with Forbes on Wednesday afternoon.
Thanks to the work of YAF and LU, thousands of students know the real story about free enterprise.
