31 years ago today, President Ronald Reagan defined his presidency and reshaped the world with one speech. Arguably the four most famous words he ever spoke, “Tear down this wall,” provided a new hope for the future.
Today, we remember Reagan’s iconic words at the Brandenburg Gate. His direct challenge to the evils of the Soviet Union demonstrated a bold stance for human liberty and ultimately began the end of the Cold War.
