How do we secure America’s future?
The Left talks a lot about the flaws of the founding fathers. Yes, they were human beings just like everyone else, but they were also men of extraordinary genius.
These men bequeathed to us a constitution that is, and should be, the envy of the world. The founding fathers also understood one important fact: this constitution is not a machine that will continue of its own accord indefinitely.
The constitutional structures that protect liberties and check government power are important and necessary, but they cannot exist in solitude. A working constitution depends on the virtue of the people.
Let this serve as a warning from the great men who drafted the document we now hold so dear: our constitutional structures will mean nothing if our people are not virtuous.
