The month of March is celebrated as Women’s History Month – a narrative that is often controlled by leftist feminists. A common claim by the Left is that the Conservative Movement is dominated by old men who are anti-women. Here at YAF, we celebrate the diversity of the Conservative Movement and Women’s History Month is the perfect time to showcase that on your campus! Your conservative club can crush the Left’s stereotypes by hosting one of YAF’s many conservative women speakers. Bay Buchanan served in the Reagan Administration as the 37th Treasurer of the United States. Since then, she has served as Senior Advisor to the Mitt Romney presidential campaign, president of The American Cause, and is also an author, businesswomen, and grandmother. She has been recognized by George Magazine as one of the top 20 political women in the nation and the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute as one of the 10 most influential conservative women in America. Buchanan speaks on the pro-life movement, feminism, and traditional values. New York Times best-selling author and YAF alumna, Katie Pavlich, currently serves as the news editor for Townhall.com. She often appears on Fox News, CNN, Fox Business, as well as several national and local radio shows. In 2014, she released her book Assault and Flattery: The Truth about the Left and Their War on Women. Pavlich’s speaking topics include feminism, media bias, and Second Amendment rights. Star Parker is the founder and president of The Center for Urban Renewal and Education, a think tank that promotes market-based solutions to fight poverty. As an author and nationally syndicated columnist, she has established herself as a thoughtful and energetic leader in the Conservative Movement. While her work is focused on fighting poverty, Parker often speaks on feminism, the pro-life movement, and traditional values. As a Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, Christina Hoff Sommers focuses her work on gender, feminism, and education. Her articles have appeared in notable publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Atlantic. Dr. Sommers is the host of a popular video blog, The Factual Feminist where she is best known for her defense of classical liberal feminism and her critique of gender feminism. Sommers speaking engagements typically revolve around feminism, gender, and education. Author, blogger, speaker, and TV personality Rachel Campos-Duffy is a frequent on-camera commentator on parenting, feminism, and culture. Additionally, she contributes to National Review Online and The American Spectator, among other conservative outlets. She serves as a contributor on Fox News and is the spokesperson for the Libre Initiative. Her speaking topics include economics, feminism, race and culture, and traditional values. These women are just five of the more than 20 conservative women we have listed in our speakers archive. Each day they work to defy the stereotypes that leftists box women into. You can learn more about these speakers and find out how to bring them to your campus by visiting our speaker page.
