The University of Dallas YAF chapter has been selected as the September 2024 Young Americans for Freedom Chapter of the Month.
UD YAF kickstarted their first full year on campus by organizing YAF’s 9/11: Never Forget Project on their campus, planting 2,977 American flags for each innocent life lost 23 years ago.
The chapter also hosted an advanced preview screening of Matt Walsh’s new film, Am I Racist?, as part of YAF’s partnership with the Daily Wire.
And to cap the month off, UD YAF hosted Gov. Scott Walker to speak on the importance of election integrity and the danger that voter fraud presents in the upcoming election in front of a packed audience.
Summarizing their success over the last month, UD YAF Chairman Liam Ritter stated, “I am tremendously proud of my chapter and the work we’ve been able to do so far this year. We’ve planted 2,977 American flags, printed over 1,100 flyers, reached hundreds of people with our events, and gained dozens of enthusiastic members. I am grateful to the amazing members of UD YAF, who have done so much work to ensure our success and to YAF itself for the opportunity to advocate the truth in the face of administrative and social opposition.”
The following members were instrumental in the chapter’s success:
Mary Guiterrez
Beatrice Ellison
Annika Bell
Angela Philpott
Elsa Daly
Isaiah Wolfenstein
Adalie Tuman
UD YAF’s dedication to advancing conservative ideas is an example for all other YAF chapters in the country.
