Lafayette College, a private institution in Pennsylvania, announced the hiring of a “queer poet” named Lisa Hiton in a post on its website Tuesday morning.
The visiting professor, who will teach an introductory-level English course that all students are required to take regardless of major, says that she looks forward to injecting her personal beliefs and leftist agenda into the classroom on an everyday basis: “I’m not afraid to talk about identity, politics, critical race theory, homophobia, transphobia, anti-Semitism, and so on in classrooms,” Hiton said.
She emphasized the “importance” of her work, especially during these times when conservatives are gaining ground against the Left’s agenda to place inappropriate and borderline-pornographic reading materials in the hands of young children.
Prior to moving out to Pennsylvania for her new teaching gig, Hiton worked as a contractor for the Deerfield Public Library in suburban Chicago, where she created and produced a “Queer Poem-a-Day” podcast for the library to publish and promote using local taxpayer funds. In one of the hour-long episodes, Hiton discusses her use of sex toys with one of the library’s program coordinators.
Unfortunately, the Left’s agenda frequently destroys the value of higher education. Students who were hoping to learn about English literature and composition will likely be subjected to stories about their professor’s sex life and leftist activism throughout the entire semester to come.
