One of the most common questions in the pro-life debate is, “But what if a child ends up in foster care?”
It is scientifically proven that from the moment of conception, the child inside the womb is a human being.
The question that should be asked is not, “What if a child ends up in foster care?” The question that should be asked is, “When does life begin?”
When studying fetal viability, brainwaves, or conception, the real question is at what point can a line be drawn affirming that abortion is “right” or “good” because the unborn child may end up in foster care? And the answer is never.
Many children end up in foster care or poor homes. Children can end up unwanted and abused.
But what happens to a child after he or she is born doesn’t determine whether that child has value as a human being.
