Hundreds of schools across the country are paying tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of one of the most dreadful days in American history.
Young America’s Foundation has proudly organized the 9/11: Never Forget Project since 2003. Since the project’s conception, YAF student activists have planted more than 14 million flags on their campuses and in their communities.
Here are photos we’ve received from across the country!
In addition to those on campuses throughout the country, Young America’s Foundation organized memorial displays on the lawn of the United States Capitol, at West Beach near the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, California, and on the lawn of the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home in Dixon, Illinois.
If your school or community participated in the project and would like to be featured, or if you would like to learn how to participate in this important national initiative next year please send an email to [email protected].
