On Sept. 22, Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, will host a panel entitled “Making Black Lives Matter in Schools” sponsored by Black Lives Matter and United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA).
According to a flyer obtained by Young America’s Foundation, the event is set to include a “major panel featuring high school students and leaders from Black Lives Matter.”
The event description suggests BLM is aiming to dictate school policy as well. The flyer describes the panel as a “strategy based discussion of school policies & procedures, curriculum & instruction, building community schools and transforming the school system to support black students.”
We will update this story as more details become available.
