Leftists Who Attempted to Injure Matt Walsh Fans Unlikely to Face Serious Consequences

Two “transgender” activists who attempted to trip hundreds of Matt Walsh fans by dumping marbles on the ground during his April Young America’s Foundation lecture at the University of Iowa have been found guilty of disorderly conduct, but not guilty on charges of criminal mischief in the fifth degree.

On the evening of April 19, 2023, the University of Iowa Young Americans for Freedom chapter hosted the Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh for a stop on his popular “What is a Woman?” tour.

The highly-anticipated event attracted a crowd so large that hundreds of hopeful attendees unfortunately had to be turned away, which resulted in an opportunity for two intolerant students to attempt to physically harm those who wanted to hear a speech by someone who speaks truth to the Left’s lies.

More than 800 attendees gathered in the Iowa Memorial Union in April to hear Matt Walsh speak; hundreds more were turned away by police due to fire code restrictions.

Izzy Kippes and Elizabeth Jorgensen, both men who pretend to be women, emptied their huge containers filled with marbles down the staircase leading into the area where turned-away Walsh attendees had congregated, hoping that they would trip and fall.

Luckily, swift action by the University of Iowa Police Department ensured that everyone stayed safe and uninjured.

According to Aletha Cole of the Gazette however, since nobody was injured, the leftist perpetrators will likely face a “slap on the wrist” when it comes time for sentencing:

“Kippes and Jorgensen will suffer no more than a slap on the wrist. A verdict of “guilty” was delivered by the jury on Thursday for the count of disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor punishable by no more than 30 days in jail and a fine of not more than $855. I don’t expect that either will actually serve time.”

Jasmyn Jordan, chairwoman of Iowa YAF, told the New Guard, “We’re very glad that nobody was injured, but it’s disappointing to think that these two individuals are barely going to face any consequences.”
