Katie Cupp is a junior at the University of Central Missouri studying political science and communication. She is currently serving her second year as the chairwoman of the University of Central Missouri Young Americans for Freedom chapter.
Katie has been involved with Young America’s Foundation since 2016, when she attended her first YAF conference as a freshman in college. After being deeply inspired at this conference, Katie soon began the process of bringing a YAF chapter to her university. By March 2017, the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at the University of Central Missouri became officially recognized.
Since then, Katie has been heavily involved with the Foundation by attending numerous conferences and training seminars while organizing and participating in several successful campus activism projects, including the 9/11: Never Forget Project, Second Amendment and pro-life initiatives, and much more. She has also helped bring in prominent conservative speakers such as Lt. Col. Allen West, Burgess Owens, and Bay Buchanan.
Outside of Young Americans for Freedom, Katie serves as a student body representative for her university and is an active member in Alpha Omicron Pi, UCM CRs, and the University of Central Missouri Honors College.
Katie is incredibly thankful to William and Berniece Grewcock for this opportunity, as she has a deep passion for promoting conservative ideas and furthering the Foundation’s mission.
