Newsweek Profiles YAF Activists & Leaders As ‘Conservative Stars Progressives Need to Fear’

In a piece published Friday, Newsweek profiled a list of “Top 12 up-and-comers who should excite the right and make liberals very nervous.” Half of the young conservatives featured are bold YAF activists whose work to better the future of our movement and our country is just getting started:
Alisa Giannelli, founder of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Lake Forest High School in Illinois which was recently awarded YAF’s ‘Chapter of the Year‘ award.
JuanaSalas-Garcia, co-founder of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Warren Township High School in Illinois.
EvitaDuffy, founder of the University of Chicago Young Americans for Freedom chapter.
ReedOlsen, chairman of the Texas A&M Young Americans for Freedom chapter which was recently awarded YAF’s ‘Chapter of the Year‘ award.
KaraZupkus, an alumna of YAF’s National Journalism Center, former chairman of GW YAF, and current Assistant Editor of YAF’s NewGuard.
JohnRice-Cameron, a YAF alumnus with whom YAF has worked to bring Ben Shapiro, Gov. Scott Walker, and Andrew Klavan to speak at Stanford University.
