The University of California Berkeley recently announced the appointment of Arneta Rogers, a “non-binary” activist who advocates for the legalization of both prostitution and abortion, to lead the institution’s “Center on Reproductive Rights and Justice,” according to a tip received through Young America’s Foundation’s Campus Bias Tip Line.
According to a blog post on the university’s website announcing her hiring, Rogers hopes to use her new role to “dismantle oppressive systems rooted in white supremacy and cis-hetpatriarchy.”
“We have a really broad mandate in terms of what we can address at the Center,” she remarked.
Berkeley’s abortion center is a division of its School of Law, and calls itself a “think tank” designed to “nurture a new generation of leaders” in its fight to restore the legality of abortion nationwide. To clarify, they’re training “a new generation” to try and prevent members of the youngest generation from ever being born.
The center hosts monthly seminars that feature some of the “top scholars” in the baby killing movement, and funds a variety of pro-abortion research projects and activism initiatives.
Prior to joining UC Berkeley, Arneta Rogers supported the establishment of “DecrimSexWorkCA,” a prostitute-led coalition that seeks to legalize the harmful and destructive practice within the state of California, and served as a “reproductive justice director” for the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California.
The New Guard attempted to reach Rogers seeking elaboration on her “dismantling” goals, but did not immediately hear back. This article will be updated accordingly.
