Ahead of a campus lecture sponsored by Young America’s Foundation, a professor at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois shared his classy take on Steve Forbes. Steve Macek, who, according to his faculty profile on NCC’s website, has “long been interested in classical and Western Marxist critiques of the capitalist media,” is a professor of communication at the college. In true leftist fashion, Macek launched a myriad of personal attacks on Steve Forbes and reminded followers on Facebook that there “is a special place in hell for people like [Forbes.]” A screenshot obtained by Young America’s Foundation shows Macek’s comments on a post publicizing the event. Macek refers to Forbes as “creepy” and “brain dead,” completely ignoring the fact that Forbes runs a successful massive media operation. He threatens to show up tomorrow evening, if he “has time,” to ask Steve Forbes how he “sleeps at night.” Let’s hope he does. Forbes, the chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, is slated to speak Tuesday night at North Central College’s Wentz Concert Hall at 7:30 p.m as part of the Ken and Janice Shengold Advancing Freedom Lecture Series. The event is open the public and will be followed by a question and answer period.
