The idea that progressive feminism has been the driving force behind the advancement of women in America is simply untrue.
Every injustice against the foundational idea of equality that has been perpetrated in our country has been a DENIAL of the founding principles upon which we were founded.
Likewise, every justice that we have enacted as a response has been a RETURN to the principles enshrined in our founding documents.
Any advancement we have seen in women’s rights in America—or civil rights in general—can be attributed to the values espoused by the founding documents, not the progressive movement.
