Liam is a rising junior at the University of Notre Dame, pursuing a dual degree in political science and finance. He is a bi-weekly opinion writer for his school newspaper and the recruitment chair of the Notre Dame Young Americans for Freedom.
Liam first became involved with the Foundation in October of 2015, after attending the fall student conference in Columbus, Ohio. Since then, he has been an active member of the Notre Dame YAF chapter, helping to organize events including Constitution Day, the annual 9/11: Never Forget Project, recruitment initiatives, and other on-campus activities. He has attended YAF conferences in Nashville, Dallas, and Washington, D.C.
Since its founding in 2015, the ND Young Americans for Freedom chapter has also hosted a number of prominent conservative speakers on campus, including Lt. Col. Allen West, Matt Walsh, and Steven Forbes.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Liam first became involved in government and the Conservative Movement during his high school years in the suburbs of Seattle, Washington. During that time, he volunteered as a voter registration aide and worked for Congressman David Reichert during his sophomore and junior years, respectively.
