Illegal immigration must be addressed.
A sovereign nation cannot exist without a solid understanding of who is and isn’t in the country. A nation without borders is not really a nation at all.
Under the current system, the group of people that want to follow the law find themselves at a disadvantage. They have to wait years for immigration applications to be processed while the system pours its energy into dealing with illegal immigrants.
The current immigration system favors those who break the law. The solution is structural change.
America can and must do better. The problem of illegal immigration needs to be solved once and for all.
