Thousands of Young Conservatives Honor 15th Anniversary of September 11 with Iconic 9/11: Never Forget Project,   Set to Focus on Exposing Radical Islam

To mark the 15th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, thousands of conservative students activists across the country are organizing Young America’s Foundation’s iconic 9/11: Never Forget Project by placing 2,977 flags in the ground to honor each victim murdered at the hands of radical Islamic terrorists that day. COoGK8RUEAA0dUw Since 2003, Young America’s Foundation (YAF) has proudly organized the 9/11: Never Forget Project, resulting in the placement of nearly 9.7 million flags on hundreds of campuses.  That’s one flag for for every person in New Jersey. The project also took on a life of its own over the past 13 years, with schools, businesses, and communities organizing countless displays across the country. It is the largest, nationwide campus initiative to commemorate the lives lost on September 11. Incoming college freshmen were three years old when the attacks occurred, underscoring the need to ensure future generations properly remember the events of September 11, 2001. The academic Left’s vile attempts to shift blame away from radical Islam started as the World Trade Center still smoldered, with professors, such as Larry Mosqueda, claiming, “If we multiply by 800-1000 times the amount of pain, angst, and anger being currently felt by the American public, we might begin to understand how much of the rest of the world feels as they are continually victimized [by the United States].” If it weren’t for the Foundation’s student activists, most schools would ignore the anniversary of September 11. The Obama administration even tried to change the meaning of 9/11 by turning the anniversary into a politically correct “national day of service.”  The Left believes young people should forget who murdered nearly 3,000 innocent American men, women, and children—radical Islamists. Unfortunately, these sentiments are alive and well on college campuses. That is precisely why the 9/11: Never Forget Project focuses on educating young Americans on radical Islam’s role in slaughtering so many innocent Americans on September 11th 2001, but also in attacks since then in Orlando, Fort Hood, and elsewhere. “Thankfully, with the help of Young America’s Foundation and conservative students, the true impact of September 11, 2001, will never be forgotten, and the 2,977 murdered that day will always be remembered,” said Young America’s Foundation Vice President Patrick X. Coyle.  For more information about the 9/11: Never Forget Project and a list of participating schools, please visit dev.yaf.org.
